Thanks for your reply. Meanwhile I have found some threads that deal with the same subject and it seems to be the case that Acid is dead. The good news are that Acid Music Studio deals very well with modern vsti such as Izotope Ozone 11 and RX.

@DJ_Leo It depends on the VSTi whether it changes the volume after receiving cc7 messages. Some do, some don't. A lot of VSTi have a MIDI learn function. Maybe you need to first connect the VSTi volume control to cc7.

It pains me to ask this, but has anyone experienced the volume envelope not affecting the actual volume level on a VSTi instrument track? If the VSTi instrument is receiving midi note data from Acid, why would it ignore basic volume control change

Ok, some more detailed information: half of the 10 VSTi's respond to pitch control from my Yamaha keyboard. Some VITA instruments do (vibraphone, string quartet, analog synth), some don't (orchestra, accordion, choir). Again, some 3rd party VSTi's

I think, that this option is not available, because the Midi Gtr 2 is not a Vsti, but it's plugin by itself basically.Is there some way to add Midi Gtr and the Vsti to the same track?
