RE: How do I mix down my tracks from mono to stereo.....
Ahh yes - the Magix version of "MONO" - this frustrates me very much as it's basic audio principles that they can't seem to get right! Try this first... you're going to have to move some tracks around for this. Move all your tracks so you have a

RE: How do I mix down my tracks from mono to stereo.....
Hi, It depends on what you mean by stereo sound - Magix does not handle this well. Are you getting sound in only one channel? You can NOT convert mono audio into stereo but you can make it come out both channels. Let me know what you're trying to

RE: How I can make Magix Movie edit pro go faster?
Hi, Your system sounds fine enough for Movie Edit Pro though I agree with Ralftaro I'd like to see more video memory. There are some other important things that will help. 1. Update your system drivers!!!Especially your video and sound. Go to

Good call, Justin. I lot of knowledge has already been accumulated here. The search function might answer many question being posted here quite often. There is only a relatively small number of people actually answering question (and doing so on

RE: How can I open standard midi files in Music maker 14 producer?
Hi, You see our dilemma... whether Magix products are coded well or not is another discussion. Generally they do work. I'll give you that most low end products in the same class are easy to get working out of the box. I don't know why Magix can't

[Closed] Is your question not being answered?
Time to resurrect this post.... Hi, I see many are getting frustrated with their question not being answered. Please be patient - there are many questions and only a few who answer. Many times the question has already been answered and a search

RE: How can I open standard midi files in Music maker 14 producer?
Hi, Lichentunes... I say Music Maker can open MIDI files - I also say not very well. You will NOT get them how you want in Music Maker. Do like Lazerboy says and get Samplitude - you can recoupe much of your cost by listing your copy of MM14 on

RE: How can I open standard midi files in Music maker 14 producer?
Hi there, Well... that's a lot. ^_^ First - Music Maker is basically a toy for non-musicians to take that step into music creation. It is VERY useful as it was intended... as a music recording and arranging software (like pro tools and cubase)

RE: How can I open standard midi files in Music maker 14 producer?
Yeah, Lazerboy is right - though you can stretch Music Maker into a MIDI editor it's not well suited for you. You can double click the MIDI file to bring up the editor. Music Maker has other MIDI tools as well. You need a MIDI sequencer. A

RE: My music maker 14 producer version doesn't receive a midi signal. What can I do?
Hi, Your first step is to tell Magix what your MIDI device is. In the options of your playback parameters chooses your MIDI device from the drop down list. If you wish to just play MIDI files; simply choose MS gs wavetable software synth. That will

RE: How do you copy LP's?
Hi, Using the sound card itself is not the best way but it will work... you should also be able to record directly from the USB turntable - it will be an option in your record devices. That will simplify things even further. I also feel you got

RE: [Closed] How do i ad a song to an arrangement without changing the tempo of the new song?
This is an unfortunate and ANNOYING issue with Magix. I guess they know better than you what to do with your music and thus FORCE a tempo change when you drag and drop. You can go back in and change the BPM of the sample but you get to guess what it

RE: Is it possible to create funny voices with Magix Music Maker?
Oh yeah... Magix is well suited for this. You have the drag and drop effects (from the tap at the bottom) that make cool robot voices or underwater sounds. You can also change the pitch and make the voices higher or lower and use your EQ to change

    RE: memory alocation
Hi, This can be caused by a couple of things - low memory or miss matched memory (usually from an upgrade). Your external hard drive is storage and not memory. The new memory sticks are suspect... who installed them? You must not only match the

RE: Where can I teach myself Music Maker
Hi, The best thing to do is take the .PDF manual that comes on the MM15 DVD down to Kinko's and have them print it. It will cost between $15 and $25 depending on how your print it. It will cost A LOT more if you print in color. That will give you

    RE: harmony
Glad it's working for you! To answer your question about elastic audio... NO; it's not worth it. It's really not good software, it leaves artifacts in your sound and is the absolute worse in it's class. You can make it work well and do some cool

    RE: harmony
Yeah - you're right. You can still create harmony by splitting your track and section out the area you want harmonized. Then you can copy that section to a track just above or below the original and shift the pitch up or down two whole steps (or

Hi, Perhaps a bit more detail and we can help. What cables are not right? What color are the ends? A VHS machine usually has Yellow, White (sometimes black) and Red. They also usually have multiple sets of these. Looking closely at the back of the

RE: Question about Magix Soundpool samples....
Yes, you're right - it's the notes in sequence. I think they start with C but I don't remember; I'll check and let you know. They go in sequence and, as you have noticed, they don't include the last whole note (they used too). This is because of the

RE: can music maker import samplebase.com satellite and its sound packets? If so how
Hi, You can import .wav, .mp3 and etc with ease. Simply browse in the file manager at the bottom and drag onto your track. Since satellite is a free sample player of Samplebase products; it's proprietary and can not be loaded into Magix. If you

If you buy soundpools and not the music creation software then you must use the logo. If you buy the software and soundpool then the logo is optional. Soudpools are royalty free (verify by checking the license included on the DVD) and the demo

Wow... weird one. Do you have any mics (maybe built into the PC) that are on? Sometimes when we record as a band the acoustic guitar pickup echos the drums - could that be your issue? Have you tried monitoring through headphones instead of
