  When I open a RAW picture in format .cr2 in Xara Photo & Graphic Designer, the picture turns out red-ish.If I open the same picture in format .jpeg the picture will have the correct colours.If I open the RAW picture in format .cr2 in Windows

  @jak.willis Again no, it would be machine code. Try going to an unwanted jpeg and open it with notepad to see what I mean. I say unwanted or a copy because it may corrupt the file once notepad is closed. I'm not suggesting looking at a movie file.
