RE: .m4a not supported in SOUND FORGE Pro 13?
Try changing file extension to <.raw> Otherwise a work around is to convert the M4a to a PCM format in another app or use an online transcoder (Zamzar for instance)

RE: Movie Edit Pro 2021 is out - New features
When I installed MEP 2021, it had Enabled the "Overload Optimization for Realtime Playback." Is that an MEP default? Or the result of sniffing my system? (In the MEP 2020 days, I recall it asking me if I wanted it to sniff to "enhance performance."

Welcome to the Magix Sound Forge forum @LordJarhead. Have you tried resetting SF which also clears the cache (file menu). I could not install the build 111 update at all... kept getting the message "must have Win 7 or 8" (duh, I have Win 10) and the

    RE: Frame size for export.
@browj2 Hi John I think you mean "Don't digitise at 720 AND don't then use Size/Position to fill the 16:9 frame - but it's OK to do it if your raw material is 1440x1080". My old Super 8 films pass the test, but my newer Hi 8 and 8mm camcorder files

    RE: Frame size for export.
@Former user Hi Unfortunately literally all my raw stuff is recorded in 4:3 format from the 'eighties and early 'nineties, so the dilemma I face is whether to leave the edited material in 4:3 with the inevitable bars down the side when played back

Dear @johnebaker, I don't have the original video, but I recorded a new one and rendered it with both software. The issue is the same. However I realized that the lag and delay is only happening, when I render it above 1080p. But I would like to

@Banani I have tried some other bitrates before you replied and it is a pretty big differince. It still is not as sharp as the original raw file, but I think that would be impossible. The 32000 and 60000 kbps would be average and maximum then? I

I cannot duplicate the behavior with the AAC files I have. They sound pretty awful, but that is expected at that low res. Does this occur when rendering to a more 'normal' PCM file setting (48k/16 for instance).Suggestions to try- Enable "Always

Hi Ray.   Yes, I'm using Win 10 Pro. After installing OBS frankly my initial impression was rather negative. That crowded main screen dominated by animated videos of itself seen through ‘infinite mirrors’ didn't help. Tried to insert screenshot

@DominikStrycharski Thank you for the file. It played without any problem in my default video player, Cyberlink PowerDVD 17. I then opened it in MEP Premium, 19.0.2.58; the file "played" but nothing was seen in the Program Monitor! (Unknown reason,
