@keithclinnell Please check if "Listen to this device" is enabled for your recording device properties in the Windows sound settings. Maybe it helps if you disable that. Additionally, depending on your hardware, you need to disable Loopback audio in

@TiKkO It could help to unistall the ASIO driver you might suspect responsible for the crash. Then start Acid again and maybe it will reset itself to some standard driver like the Microsoft Sound Mapper.

Independence Library Standard
For some reason even though the ASIO driver was installed, Independence is not making any noise. I even put the volume to 100%, my computer volume is up...yet no noise. Anyone have ideas on how to fix this issue?
