    RE: saving to MPEG 4
@jamesglynn @johnebaker Hi, I just got around to trying out SFACL4 with an MP4 video clip. Export to Original format worked fine. Export to MPEG4 worked properly but it took a while. There is a huge difference in file size: 82,467KB for MP4 (as per

RE: can no longer cut/delete in Sound Forge 19
@Jon-Baker I have downloaded the Ver 4 trial version and it does exactly the same thing I rather feared that might be the case! In order to eliminate something in a particular troublesome mp3 file being the cause, can you post one of them to a file

[Solved] SF18 crashes when loading a file.
I just upgraded from SF14 pro to 18 pro. 14 was crashing every time I loaded a wav or MP3 file. I figured an upgrade to 18 would probably fix the issue but it does the same thing. I bought a new computer recently with Windows 11 and down loaded

RE: [Solved] Very annoying beep that is added to recordings on editing.
@Val-Stevens, if the files that are prone to produce the beeping sounds are lossy file types (MP3, AAC and such), You might try enabling "Always proxy compressed formats" in "Options> Preferences> General"

RE: [Solved] Savaing MP3 Files seems to lengthen time.
Welcome to the Magix Sound Forge users community @Ronald-King. Encoding an MP3 will inherently add time to the head and tail. As I recall, up to 30 milliseconds. more of less I am not aware of a MP3 encoder that can eliminate this behavior. The
