The movie settings were correct with frame rate 23.976. When I imported the movie I clicked yes to set the movie settings the same as the import. But when I exported clips or the whole movie using a selected codec, the frame rate was actually 23.98.

Michelle, Have you checked the Help files built in to PhotoStory? If you open them, via the Help menu (!!) and use the "Search" tab, type DVD in the search box and you will find a host of references which will help you to be able to burn your DVD!

Subtitles lost
I input files from a PAL DVD and set Movie Edit Pro (V16.0.1.22) for NTSC HD output and burned a DVD. Worked fine EXCEPT the subtitles and subtitle language menu did not come across. ?? Using Windows 8.1
