    RE: General discussion on add-ons
@Reyfox Hi. It doesn't have to be an individual graphics plugin that will cause that amount of ram usage but a combination of smaller ones running parallel. I am currently running a two minute twenty two second 4K export that will take me a while to

    RE: General discussion on add-ons
@CubeAce, ouch! That much RAM being used working with graphics. What specific plugin are you using? I know Boris Title Studio can use up a lot of system RAM. But still.... As for the price of graphics cards. They are still insane. But that is what

RE: Movie Studio 2023 vs 2024. What's actually changed?
@Lee-N That is just my personal take on the offerings at present. The problem is also one of will the newer program slow down my existing computer setup. Newer iterations of the program always seem to load more onto the system and graphics ram on

RE: Bugs and problems - Music Maker 2024
@Psylma Using loops is usually not a problem, even with bigger projects. As soon as you use VST effects this can change dramatically, depending how much computational power they need. Additionally, Music Maker uses a different audio engine than

@Don-Fredrick Hi Don. Glad you have a resolution to your problem. The thing is Magix Movie Studio is designed to work with Windows 10 and 11 and with more modern computer components. Especially the encoding and processing capabilities found on new

@browj2 Hi John. The dust bunnies is where ProDad's Hide actually does a very good job as it is basically the same as the clone tool in a photo editing package but tracks the areas in individual areas. You can add as many precise spots as needed and

Hi, thanks for the suggestion but I've already configured power saving and suspend modes on USB, Processor throttling etc. to optimise windows for audio. I haven't contacted support yet I thought I'd try here first. I'm going to do that now, thanks

@CubeAce you have to realise that each new version is produced to take use of the latest computer components and operating system which means moving from older hardware and software configurations to newer versions such as Direct X changes and CPU /

@Krzysztof-Nowacki Hi. I'm honestly fed up with Movie Studio by Magix. Who was bothered by VEGAS? It's the nature of the beast of video editing. Within any three year period minimum spec requirements for any video editing software jumps quite a bit.

Some more results, even more pronounced. I'm mixing down/exporting some big DV-AVIs into MPEG4, with Neat Video and a bit of sectioning and sharpening, resizing to 1440x1080. The RTX-3060 GPU is doing most of the work. The export was to the same
