  Magix software is designed and optimised for Windows based PCs. Running it on a MAC under Parallels or any other VM is not really supported! I suspect in your case the problem may be that MEP cannot properly access your DVD burner; I can see from

  Hi Just to clarify/add to my post - burning Blu-Ray or AVCHD can be done on to a DVD disc providing the movie is no longer than 25 - 30 mins. If longer than that you must use a BD disc - your burner needs to support BD burning. HTH John EB
