RE: Bitrate vs Quality sliders for encoding video
So what happens in the case of each individual source file, direct from the camera, having a different bitrate? For instance, I have recently been putting together a video in MEP, using the raw video files direct from my camera. However, according

RE: Burned discs will not play on either of two DVD players
@John-McInnis You mention in your latest post that you are using DL discs. I take that to mean you are using Dual-Layer, which are (?always) DVD+R but for which I have personally found neither MEP nor VPX to be "ideal" for "direct burning", i.e. if

RE: Burned discs will not play on either of two DVD players
Thanks to all for the great info.- from professionals, too. I took a chance that the MEP version (installed March 2018) was a possible problem and/or the DL discs were not friendly to either of my players. So I re-downloaded the program from MAGIX

RE: Burned discs will not play on either of two DVD players
@CubeAce I have to very forcefully disagree with your assertion that "Some standalone players won't play DVD - R discs". In fact, I find that it is DVD+R single-layer discs which are the ones that can cause problems, though not the dual-layer type

I found the solution myself. For those interested in film how to do it. It is a waste of time to answer from Magix. This worked for me! This fix worked for me. When I went to burn even the smallest of video it prompted me to install an add on

@browj2 and @johnebaker Thanks for replying. I can report that I have solved the problem, after much experimentation involving the production of a stack of expensive Blu Ray beer mats! I tried everything, including copying all the video and audio

@Graham-Wright: As you might have gathered from Jeff's response, this is not a support forum. It's a user forum, and Magix staff seldom have a presence here. You should try filing a support ticket, as Jeff suggested. But good luck with that. There

Archiving Mpeg 2 as 1920 x 1080 25p
I recorded a video at Mpeg 2 1080p25 in Sony PXW-Z150. Bringing it onto the VPX timeline, there is no 1080p25 timeline template, so I use 1080i25.Everything plays fine, so I assume I'm not having interlacing problems or anything 'strange' going

RE: 25p from digicam to export 50p or 50i ??
The Jerkiness is in the Time line MEP, and of course if you think the jerkiness will go away if you burn a DVD, it does not. So I believe the problem is when you transfer your video from your camera's SD, card to your time line, at this time it

RE: Is it possible to fix a video shot with an extreme-whiteness lense??
