    RE: Wont start
@Lars-Kristoffersen Yeah, I believe this simply shows up, if the audio driver gets enabled. Go into the program preferences. There you can select the audio driver. Usually, you want to select an ASIO driver, for example the Magix Low Latency driver.

RE: ASIO drivers have no audiO
@philthedoctor @hannah2021 Like already written, you need to configure the inputs and outputs of the ASIO driver via the Advanced button. In case you don't use an audio interface you likely need to select Realtek as an output. Using Bluetooth

RE: need major help with recording on music maker 2024
@iikka-uusitalo Maybe the audio chipset gets overloaded? You could try to increase the buffer size in the ASIO driver settings from 1024 to 2048.

RE: Latency in VST playback on Samplitude Pro x8
@Dafydd-Rees To compensate for this, you can set a time shift/delay in the track options (right click on the track or press ALT and i on your keyboard to open the options). The shift can be negative or positive. The standard settings are 0 samples.

    RE: Music Maker not working
@Riley-Coach Usually, reinstalling will do nothing, because the program settings are saved separately. If you install the software again, it will revert to the settings before the uninstallation. I recommend you restart your computer regularly by

I bought a new SSD drive and I will be using Macrium to clone. The fruitloops AsIO is much faster, So I am not sure if the sound is the issue. Once I clone and install this higher SSD. If problem still persists then I will proceed to getting the USB

@Thistof Make sure you have selected an ASIO driver in the program settings. This is mandatory for VST instrument live monitoring. Also set the track with your VST instrument to MIDI REC I Think hes talking abt vst effects, not instruments. I am

RE: SUPER LOUD BEEP while working on a project
@ProductionSavard Do you use a VST plugin in demo mode? Depending on the plugin, these can add bleeps or white noise. If not, do you have an ASIO audio interface? Or are you using only a single Realtek Audio chipset? These chipsets are on the

    RE: delay in monitor
@Lior-Cohen Welcome to the Magix user forums. This "delay" is your system's latency. Essentially, your audio (speaking or singing) goes into your OS which then converts it to digital but for you to be able to "hear" it in your headset it must then

Is the USB device selected as the default 'Record' device in Windows sound settings?Back in Sound Forge, try Windows Classic Wave driver, using that driver, the USB device should be listed by name and you should be able to monitor right on the PC.

Markers dropped during record do not synch
I'm using Sound Forge pro 16. I have a Scarlett 2i2 (and a soundblaster ae-9; the issue happens on both). When I record, and drop markers with the insert marker button or using the 'M' key, they end up dropping later then I clicked them. The drift

RE: Updated MM and now big delay when pressing keys in midi.
@gizzrecords Simply click on the Advanced button next to the driver selection to open the driver settings. There you can set your ASIO buffer. It should be a reasonable value like 512 samples.

RE: ASIO drivers have no audiO
@Chris-Howard Depends on what features you used. Magix' audio engine doesn't support live audio monitoring without ASIO.

@Joachim-Vinson The buffer settings above are not for the ASIO driver. The ASIO buffer settings can be found in the ASIO driver settings. Open the driver settings by clicking on the Advanced button. Try something large at first, for example 2048

@Chris-Howard Music Maker has only limited audio capabilities if you don't use ASIO. That was always the case.
