Hi, Just in a nutshell: Make sure that your Music Maker is configured to use an ASIO driver to avoid latency related problems. You can change the driver model when you're in the main screen of Music Maker and press "P" on your computer's keyboard

The soundpools should have been installed in a folder calles Basics2008. This folder can be found in the program directory of Music Maker (like C > programs > MAGIX > Music Maker). Do you have the download version of Music Maker 14?
