RE: Understanding original file management
@Joe-Engel Hi Joe, I am far from expert on this topic. Definition (Wiki, of course) "In computing, a cache (/kæʃ/ (listen) kash,[1] or /ˈkeɪʃ/ kaysh in Australian English[2]) is a hardware or software component that stores data so that future

@jerancampy22 Hi, Losing the project files is worrisome. When you installed the new version of MEP, did you check to see if the main folder had been replaced with an empty one except for the subfolders? On my laptop, this is the location of all

Dolby AC-3 files will not playback in Sound Forge without a AC-3 decoder. Convert the AC-3 files to PCM WAVE and use them. There are numerous online converters that convert to most formatsIf you have a multi-channel (surround) AC-3, convert it to a

RE: Export & Burn - Project Sharp, Export or Burn slightly fuzzy
Thanks for the tips. I definitely cannot get the same quality on a DVD that I have used previously. I tried to burn a number of times and with the best quality settings, but to no avail. I have exported to MPEG-4 with Full HD setting, and this does

Hi @sheppo - I can assure you that AMS11 does support the MP3 file type and that I have been using the drag and drop method for MP3 files on my previous computer before I got this pc. @Chris-Spargur - I've Confirmed MP3 import works on the download

RE: Error writing to disc
@Jack-Peebles Hi and welcome to the forum. The burn log would suggest that the DVD discs may be 'bad' - this is more frequent if you are using non-branded or store branded discs or DVD+R discs. Try using the Image recorder option in the burn dialog

@Larry-Bender Hi Still not a lot to go on - answers to 2, second half of 3, and 4 are missing. One factor of lower video image quality with DVD is the device resolution that it is played ie if it is a Full HD 1920 x 1080 or 4K TV, or similar high
