RE: How to use plane avatar on Travel Maps
@Teresa-Hoffman Hi . . . . a person walking avatar, which only seems to be available in the Ultimate Traveler Package . . . . Unfortunately that is so, the free version has a limited number of Avatars, and third party animated GIFs do not

    RE: cinema widescreen ratio 21:9
@AAProds . . . . Magix says "no you don't, it's got to be 1632". Not in as many words... the height box just jumps back to 1632. . . . . The reason for this has to do with the encoding algorithm which encodes the video in 'blocks' - the smallest

    RE: Image rotation
@Spike Hi. I have had a similar problem in the past which was caused by the camera. My cameras have a setting that enables a portrait image to be shown in the landscape orientation of the view-screen for playback, avoiding the need to keep rotating

@Darius-Cole Hi Darius. I don't know how to do that in magix. If you haven't been able to follow fully what I had put in my reply just do the following. Start a new project. Type the width and height of the frame in the appropriate boxes as that

RE: Video Pro X14 - Bug List
Hi John Oops! OK. Re-opened the project. I only used the camera zoom to alter positions and size and I didn't touch size position rotation although those changes I made are recorded there. And they kept their settings. Am I missing something? Does

Video Pro X14 - Bug List
I have opened this thread to try to follow old and new bugs for VPX14. I have been updating the old bug list and I will need some help vetting some of the older bugs raised by others. Note that I have not raised a ticket yet for Bug 50. I would like

    RE: Freewell anamorphic lens desqueezing
Hi and welcome to the user to user forums. That depends on how you are going to use the footage in your project. There may be several solutions. I can think of one way but may not be ideal. If you want the whole video to be from the anamorphic lens

    RE: Image rotation
@Spike Hi To qualify @CubeAce comment . . . MS2022 and VPX 14 do not support AC3 . . . . they do import AC 3 Surround Sound, however it will be mixed down to stereo when exporting as h.264/AVCHD. The only available export format that still supports

    RE: Image rotation
@Spike Hi Spike and welcome to the user to user forums. An aspect ratio is always width by height. That can be set manually when creating a new project along with the correct frame rate and audio sample rate. A file from a camera or phone should

    RE: Image rotation
I am also getting unwanted clip rotation from clips from a Panasonic camcorder (mts format). Some are 90 degrees and others 180 degrees. Video clips and photos from mobile phones are OK. This happens without warning and not all the clips suffer.

@AAProds Hi, The layout is the same as VPX13 and MEP2022 except for the addition of the left/right top/bottom adjustment boxes. Yes, you have to scroll down or make a bigger window, like many other effects. Remember that Rotation was combined with

    RE: VPX14 update replaces VPX13
@Craigster Hi, If you use third party transitions, there is a new bug. The third party interface doesn't see one of the sides, usually the left side, making it hard to use. I have noticed that sometimes the image on the screen sticks, meaning that
