The ultimate joke: Can't record with ASIO, can't record without it!
So you go into your copy of MAGIX Music Maker Premium to record, but if you try it tells you that you absolutely must use an ASIO driver, otherwise it won't work. Alright, you say. Sure, using an ASIO driver silences all the other sound on the

To add something to what Jeff said: We've been getting the problem you described, with first-time Music Maker users not getting any audio output from the application, more frequently ever since we switched to using ASIO drivers by default in the

RE: SpectraLayers Pro 4 vs ASIO: Playback in wrong pitch
Part 3: Here's the good news: The SL 5.0.131 trial, as provided above, works just fine with my Scarlett 6i6 (1st gen) and ASIO! (Besides the imo wrong channel assignement when loading single channel (mono) files). The file (44,1 kHz) loads and plays

    Multi-client ASIO
I am trying to follow youtube video tutorials for samplitude. But, I haven't figured out how to make this work. If I try to edit an object, samplitude tells me I must use an ASIO driver. I can use the Magix low-latency driver. But, if I do, can't

Needing to restart normal? Audio hardware out
I must be asking a FAQ. I tried but didn't find an answer. I've been struggling to make sound happen for a few days 30 minutes at a time. Starting with the software keyboard and a VSTi instrument, I've managed to hear sound through this process (no

    Monitoring mono mic in stereo.
Hi everyone. Does anyone know how to monitor the audio line-in in stereo? It's a mono channel mic, so I have it set to mono in the audio recording window. When I record and playback it's good, and I can hear it through both speakers. But when I'm
