    RE: VHS captures, video "washed-out"
@Can-Dive I was not aware of this 4:3 vs 5:4 issue. Do you know if this problem exists across different video editors? For example, to your knowledge, does Vegas Pro have this issue? I couldn't say. We do have a few Vegas users here though so they

Hardware Encoding for MPEG-4 Export Stopped Working
I had Movie Studio 2018. It was taking about 3 minutes to render a 1 min video using MPEG-4 under the 'Best' quality. About two weeks ago I upgraded to MS24 and was pleased to see that rendering was completed in 30 seconds or less with hardware

    RE: The AV1 codec
@johnebaker @me_again Hi. Last time I looked VLC player did not support AV1 and I would think Media Player classic is too old and was last updated in 2017 as far as I can find out. Firefox was an early adopter but I think Edge also now supports AV1.

Hi. First I will say I don't use Rescue Your Video Tapes. Few if any people who answer questions here do so I'm not sure of the saving possibilities you have. There is nothing basically wrong with using MPEG-2. It is just a less efficient at

Adding a logo onto a video
Hello, Does anyone know whether or not it’s possible to add any logo over a video, preferably without having to re-compress/lose quality? If not then are there any other programs out there that can achieve this?

@rickduley Rick, re Video Easy, yes, you are right. I have version 7 here and it can't open that MTS (well, it was trying, but would have taken over an hour). So Magix has done something to it's file import function recently. The Proxy feature

@Former user Hi Gid. No, the mask produced in ProDad was purely only around the knight and horse. It looks forwards and backwards across the frames and adds the missing background from those frames where the mask is to sit while removing the masked

RE: Wav, Flac, or Something Else to inport Vinyl in for Cleaning?
@DBazzz I would suggest WAV with CD quality (44.1 khz, 16 bit). This is basically much more than a vinyl record can deliver but it is a very common quality that every player should be able to play. Since FLAC uses a lossless compression it is a good
