RE: how do i record vocals then remove background noises
I'm not trying to be a smart-a$$, but wouldn't it be better to reduce or eliminate the background noise from the recording in the first place? I can relate though.  I could never get a clean recording with a mike at my house eiither.  I'd have to

RE: how do i record vocals then remove background noises
Hi, You'll need a good .vst plug-in, either background noise remover or karaoke vocal remover. Either way it's tough and never 100% It's all one piece and can be difficult (sometimes) impossible to remove certain aspects. Like I've said before...

RE: How do I erase the sound that were captured during recording
Hi Sam, If you have background sounds that recorded with the sounds you wish to keep then I'm afraid it's not possible (at least not feasible). Once a source is recorded into a single file it's almost impossible to remove just certain sounds...

    RE: mixdown tips
the best way would be to overdub the track: http://www.magix.info/us/get-that-professional-sound.online-training.31964.html but you could also apply an eq, vocal audio fx, or chorus.

RE: how do i change the pitch on guitar
Good answer, Let me add a third choice - double click the sample and bring up the Master effects rack. You can change the pitch there too with the pitch shift rack. This is useful since you can make EQ settings at the same time. Justin

RE: Any Good Compressor / Reverb / Delay / EQ /...Whatever Settings
Hi, That is an almost impossible task because everybody has different equipment, strings and etc. What sounds good for one person will NOT sound good for another. Sound is SO subjective that you can't create settings that work for everyone. That's

Any Good Compressor / Reverb / Delay / EQ /...Whatever Settings
Hi.  A lot of the other recording / Effect forums I'm on have a place for a list of good effects settings for various recording situations.  That way, you don't have to fiddle around endlessly with all the hundreds of effects knobs, but can stand on

RE: [Closed] Suggestions for recording acoustic drums via midi???
Hi, I completely agree--acoustic drums are by far the most difficult instrument to record and get a decent sound.  And I'm a drummer, so I'm probably even more particular about how they sound.  In my experience, the raw, recorded drum tracks

RE: how do i hook up multiple microphones for live recording
Ralftaro nailed it! Let me just offer a couple suggestions: 1.) If you do not have a recording interface GET ONE! A PC sound card is just not adequate for decent recording. 2.) Get yourself a decent mixer; Behringer makes a great 12 channel

RE: Is it possible to create funny voices with Magix Music Maker?
Oh yeah... Magix is well suited for this. You have the drag and drop effects (from the tap at the bottom) that make cool robot voices or underwater sounds. You can also change the pitch and make the voices higher or lower and use your EQ to change

Hi, You can fix cassette tapes but it is a painful and tedious process. Magix may not be the best choice for this. There is a pitch changer in Music Maker that might be what you're looking for... I'm not sure about audio cleaning lab. In

RE: Loud Bursts of Static... Why?
Is the audio clip in the timestamp showing a big wave picture? Try lowing the audio sound on the clip, also the Sound board that Magix has, be sure that the levels are not all the way up. If you look at the Audio FX box from the sound FX(Mixer), it

RE: How do i make acapellas in time with beat?
Hi Geldinho, An easy fix is to import your acapella sound into Music Maker and cancel the remix editor. Then double click the acapella wav sample in the arranger window and up pops all your tools including EQ, compressor and the ability to change a

RE: How to remove vocals from audio music file
BabaSikander was partly right... first look for a product that supports it. If you already own a product then read on. Unfortunately you can not remove vocals with an eq; once vocals are in the mix the eq will only change the frequencies. It's
