  @JCI-21 The installed location of Magix VSTis is C:\Users\Public\Documents\MAGIX\Common. Within that location you will find folders such as Live Pads and Mx Synth. I don't think the actual installers for these are saved anywhere on your computer.

  @johnebaker no this doesn't help me at all. My issue isn't saving to .mp3 specifically. It's saving to ANY format other than .sfas at all@rraud nothing happens when I follow your recommendation above. No window opens, nothing changes on screen :S

  @Richard-Docherty No, the sound is saved in a ROM chip or flash memory on your keyboard. MIDI only contains note values, controller curve values or program changes and no sound. You need to record the audio output of your keyboard into the computer.

  I don't know whether SF Audio Studio can save 4 channel audio files. Maybe it can only save Mono, Stereo and 5.1 audio files. SFAS has the 4-channel Quad file option.

  @Wiiplashh You need to enable to create project file backups on save and also enable autosave in the Preferences > General Tab. This will create acd-bak and autosave files in case something goes wrong again. Not sure if there is a way to restore
