RE: MEP Premium - Preview rendering ignores crossfades?
@Former user @johnebaker Hi Gid. If you look on the ASUS site for your motherboard specs you will see it supports 3200Mhz ram modules, same as mine does, but Intel puts the limit of ram frequency of my i9900k as being DDR4 2666. I still suspect that

RE: Export failing when using NewBlue CartoonR Plus
@Former user @Scenestealer Hi. Regarding pre-rendering. Using the Auto setting often misses parts the program thinks will play smoothly and is better to do manually be selecting a range and then select 'Range' in the pre-render box. The problem then

RE: Export failing when using NewBlue CartoonR Plus
@Former user Hi, Just wondered if you are aware that Creating Proxies would bring less benefit to smooth playback than pre-rendering in that pre-rendering, whilst also creating a proxy, also renders the cartooner effect - so most of the work is done

    RE: Playback delay
Good day to all. There is a problem. The problem is in the playback of the AVI files. The image "jerks" ("skips", "lags") when played in VPX. AVI is still a VERY IMPORTANT component of many programs. For example, MAGIX Designer Pro X can save

    RE: Interpolate intermediate frames
@johnebaker Hi John. I chose BMP over jpeg or png due to the lack of compression of that format. If what you are saying is true and as I can't tell if I have an I frame or not then in theory no still image should be showing a difference that people

@Galaxy Hi, Now at VPX13 v.19.0.1.123. You are at v.16 which would be VPX10. A lot has changed since VPX10. Too much for me for one sitting, but here goes. Yes. You can now click in the track header to turn it on (blue) or rather, select it. When

@johnebaker @DesertSweeper @AAProds I hope they do fix the problems with a patch and not wait for the nest release for fixes as I for one would not be well pleased with that solution. To my Mind Infusion Engine III needs a rewrite. On complex 4K

@kate-m Hi Kate. Do you mean the project is crashing during playback or during exporting? Try running Task manager (Ctrl + Alt + Del) while you are running the program and see if anything is maxing out. CPU, ram, Disk use etc. If you have learnt to

I probably should also have mentioned that I had just reinstalled Sound Forge after having to reset my machine. And the problem occurred after I opened the program for the first time, entered the serial number and then opened a file to work on.

@DesertSweeper Hi. Earlier you said. Computer-wise i suspect all is good with a recent-gen 8-core 16-thread CPU and an RTX 2080-TI and 64GB of RAM with dual NVMe drives So I for one am not comfortable saying for certain it is not your system if your

Thanks for your response. I really don't believe this is a sound card issue. I'm working with SFP10 for now. Followed your suggestion regarding device driver(s). No change. SF doesn't seem to "see" the incoming audio, whether from a playback file or

    RE: video clips don't play
@kate-m Hi Kate. The best bet would be to disable the card by not ticking the "Hardware acceleration for playback if possible" and "Hardware encoding during export where possible" boxes and rely on the CPU alone. That may still present problems. For

@ToTo23 Hi and welcome to the forum. . . . . VPX takes a few seconds to start playback. . . . . This is quite normal, the time taken to start playing the rendered image is dependent on several factors. . . . . At first I thought my PC was very slow,

@jak.willis I think to fully understand the problems involved with interleaved video, you first have to understand the limitations of the cathode ray tube and the fact that any interleaved video would always look better played back on such a device

@DesertSweeper @browj2 Hi. The reason @browj2 asked to make sure you get Mercalli V5 with VPX 13 should you decide to upgrade is because you will lose the ProDad Mercalli 2 image stabilizer. It's a good call over the standard Vegas option. Unlike

@DesertSweeper Hi, Just so that everyone knows, what you refer to as V17 is VPX11 version 17.x.x.x. The product is now VPX13 version 19.x.x.x. There is nothing wrong with VPX11. Just keep working with it. Other than changes to the engine, there are
