RE: Crackling sound (only in Video Pro X)
If I trim a clip there will be a distinct crack sound added to the very end of the clip at times. I have had the same (a distinctive "Zit"), over the years, randomly and seldomly. I just trim a few more frames off the end and it

RE: VHS made into DVD
@Bigangbo Thank you. File is now enabled. As far as the sound quality goes, in my opinion it is not at all bad. For the generation of the recording it sounds as if a dynamic mic (or mics) were used rather than an early condenser mic. There is a

RE: [Closed] MAGIX Movie Studio 2023 Suite crashes
@CubeAce Ray, I don't believe that. MMS 2023 is a dog's breakfast and should be patched. It is not possible to "improve" a program so that, after only 2 years, it is rejecting half-modern equipment. This is not the Artemis. Andrew's post in the

@johnebaker @emmrecs Looking at the tute for RYVT, that SCART only has Composite out. You are not going to get HD. John, I note that that "Advanced" dialogue box has "Magix video export" as it's name. I hardly think that VE is going to convert SD

@Duke-Marsh, @CubeAce Hi Thanks for the additional data, I have modified your post to removed the underlining as this makes it more difficult to read. The specification of your PC should be OK for handling the FullHD 1920 x 1080 videos, however if

Thanks a lot for all that information guys! It still surpises me that blue-ray disks don't support - by default - the 1080i 50fps video's. The work-arounds can be usefull, but are - only - work-arounds...When I export the video as mp4, in HD and 50

@AAProds We've speared off on a tangent thinking about HD Hi Al, I don't agree, sorry! The OP's comment was about the aspect ratio of his digitised video; he clearly seems to expect that his widescreen output will be more than 720 x 576. As we

@mark.s.witty @johnebaker @emmrecs We've speared off on a tangent thinking about HD. DVDs can be widescreen. The resolution, in this case, is still 720x576, but the files are flagged 16:9 (pixels are wider than tall😉). If your source video (a VHS?)

@tami-0 I'm assuming your source file/s are 1920x1080, 29.97, Progressive. Please advise if they aren't. An MPEG 4 file at the same size as an MPEG file will be better quality, so I'd suggest MPEG 4. To achieve a "compression ratio" of 1.2, do this
