RE: [Closed] Website Observation
@browj2 Your list basically embellishes most of what I mentioned, there's very few 'new features' there., The UI change I mentioned, Online/hub speech to text etc. these I didn't mention because they're outside the main program. Some acquired

RE: [Closed] My activation code does not work.
@Greg-Oberle Hi and welcome to the user to user forums. I'm afraid you should be a bit more precise with your information for us to help effectively but I'll have a guess. Which codec? If it is for HEVC then the Magix codec is for encoding

RE: MMS/MEP will not import this MP2 Audio
@AAProds Did you try converting the container to TS in Copy-Copy? It does work - honest. The audio with Codec ID mp4a-6B seems to be causing universal problems in MP4s when you Google it.

@sksoon Hi. Normally at this point we would ask if you could make a video clip available for us to test and verify. Any appropriate clip put on to Google drive available for download would do. It could be the program cannot play ProRes files as Mov

RE: Deinterlacing old footage VHS Lagarith with good results possible?
@Can-Dive @Beardeboss Hybrid can indeed use QTGMC to deinterlace. It's an "interesting" GUI and I had a crack at it but at the time (before my new computer), it didn't have a suitable output codec that I could import directly, successfully, into

RE: Sony FX3 files compatibility with Video Pro X
@Gus_2030 Hi. You need to buy the additional Intra Codec for VPX 14 for your second file. You should have got this pop-up box telling you that. As far as codecs go I think that one is quite expensive and will only work within Magix programs. Ray.

Many thanks guys. In Prism I converted to 1280 still 60 fps and it worked fine in timeline however when I zoomed it was grainy so I an now converting the orig to 1920 at 30fps to see if that is okay when I zoom in.. I will change the phone setting

@tom_frank Hi . . . . shoot 1080p-100 fps video . . . . Is this with a camera or mobile phone? . . . . why VPX can't output with AVC or HECV codecs in an MP4 wrapper . . . . The maximum framerate for 'standard' h.264 (AVC) and h.265 (HEVC) video is

RE: MAGIX Video easy 5 HD
@Johnny-Hansen Hi. If you are importing a file from a new camera or phone it could be the old program does not have the correct codec or wrapper to use the file. For that you may have to await the reply from Magix. The program is older than my time

RE: Chunks of sound missing after saving files
I concur with @SP., MP3 and other lossy formats are primarily for end-use distribution. Always edit in the PCM format, with at least a 44.1k/16 bit resolution and encode an MP3 (or whatever codec format) when all editing is complete. I do not recall

RE: [Closed] File size
@CubeAce Ray, I'm only talking about Magix export. I'm sure there are all sorts of exotic MP4 codecs than can or can't be opened by various programs, but that's not my point. IMO, the Magix Export menu should be: MP4 (AVC) MP4 (HEVC) MP4 (AV1).

RE: Help selecting a new PC
@mikerb An excellent doggie walk! There's a little bit of pixellation, for example, amoungst the foliage during movement/panning. I'd suggest cranking up the bitrate by 50%. The more bitrate you can give Youtube the better. It won't affect viewer's

@Jamil-Taylor Magix Movie Studio (and I assume VPX) does export OpenDML AVIs. Open one of your files in Mediainfo and look at the Format Profile; it is "OpenDML". I'm no expert on OpenDML (I use compressed lossless codecs for my AVI work) but this

RE: Saving videos question (Saving YouTube vids to PC for later)
@Eric-Elliott Eric, of course. Just export them in MPEG-4 format. I think this was mentioned before, but just pick the bitrate that will give you the largest file size you can stand to upload. For example, you have a 1920x1080 video that is 10

RE: codec cost
@Reyfox Hi The video is 'standard' AVC/h.264 at a very high bitrate due to the profile level being high quality at 5.1. The encoding is standard GOP structure, however it is not All-Intra, therefore no AVC-Intra decoder needed. From the M=1 N=12
