  I think i've found a workaround in the meantime until Magix can sort it, if i open the program on it's own, not by clicking a project file, but just by clicking directly on Acid 10 it opens fine and then i can load projects by clicking 'File, Open'

  @Manoj Hi and welcome to the user to user forums. Sometimes the next step to download hides behind the main screen of the program. Check on your task bar for another program extension opening and click on it to bring it in front of the main screen.
