Recording error message

We just installed studio 2025 and when we select the record button we get the attached error message. The only option is to close the program. Can someone provide suggestions? Error in module "KERNELBASE.dll" (load address:......). to address .....

I am not familiar with getting songs off of iTunes, but when MP4 and M4A audio will not not playback in SF, the AAC codec is usually missing. try installing Quicktime 7 or Quicktime Alt. I am not sure that has anything to do with the drag/drop
