  @emmrecs Hi Jeff I have both VPX and VDL on my laptop and PC, and this is not the first time I have been asked to de-activate/reactivate by a patch, which may have been triggered by the update to Win 25H2. I suspect that significant Windows updates

  @Crs Hmm, it looks like in the link that you are using Music Maker version 30, which is equivalent to Music Maker 2022, is that correct? Have you tried to install the free updates to version 32 (2024)?

  I did try f9 with no joy. I was suspicious of the windows update so I rolled back the update, amazing all is well! Update then reports that 2025-3 is waiting to be installed so to make sure that the issue was update related I reinstalled the update.
