RE: Straighten routes in Travel Maps
@GrumpysDad Hi, If you want a rounded corner that doesn't swing way out (if that is the problem), add more points - just before the bend, in the bend, after the bend. It would be nice if Magix would add in a feature to be able to select rounded or

Straighten routes in Travel Maps
I'm putting a route together in Travel Maps from the UK to San Francisco. When I try to put a second waypoint of San Diego in by bus, it swings out into the Pacific first. Is there any way of getting right angles in to make it more believeable? Or

@derek-williams Hi Derek. I haven't ever tried to do this and have tried to follow the thread as much as I can. So the following advice is just based on what it looks like. Not necessarily what it is so you can ignore the advice below completely if

RE: Third Party settings within MEP (Boris Titler) Update findings.
Update. I tried a real file project with only limited titling using Boris effects. So for a mixed 4K project of 4minutes 50 seconds at the best quality export settings to MP4. With setting Boris Titler in Windows to High performance, the playback in

RE: Masks and the use of the Chroma Key Enquiry.
@browj2 @johnebaker @terrypin Hi Terry. Yes That's basically it with the odd couple of points that John picked up on. Easy fix once you get into the swing of it. Anyone ready for version 2 now with the basics sorted? I'm just finishing up soon with

@David-Robinson5527, @emmrecs Hi I am afraid I would disagree with you both to some extent. I have been playing with this and once you get the settings right, eg displaying the name and file type, uncheck Display square symbols, and allowed it to

RE: Ethical or legal dilemas of use of MEP with T&Cs.
@browj2 Hi John. Don't worry about me and sound pools. I've spent years collecting sound effects with portable (and not so portable) recorders. Starting with portable open reel machines, then Mini Disc and digital recorders. I've been on beaches at

RE: Any problems to expect if upgrading CPU/MB/ and operating system?
@terrypin Hi Terry, Of course, I won't turn the lights on under Dec. 1, assuming that I get them working by then. I managed to quickly get the other version of the BT template with monitor arm working. The monitor swings down. Great fun! Off to

RE: Any problems to expect if upgrading CPU/MB/ and operating system?
@johnebaker Thanks for responding John. 1: Both identical monitors bought at the same time from the same batch. 2: using HDMI ports on both at both ends. 3: Always done that in the past for stills editing. 4: Same, but once every six weeks when

@browj2, @Kaywahjay, @emmrecs, @mmcswnavy24 Thanks for the clip John. Imported into MEP - no proxy files generated played smoothly as was. I then cut the video into 3 , applied xfade and swing transition, and Mercalli 2 stabilisation to all sections

RE: [Closed] Music Maker 2020 Premium has some bugs. Does anyone else have them ?
@ralftaro Hi Ralf, Thanks for replying. Track height: Pressing on Tab seemed to fix something and the tracks now got smaller. Prior to that, even the +/- on the vertical scroll bar would not even work. It now works, even after restarting

MusicMaker 27.0.3.32 - Does Not Recognize mxcogg files
This has probably been going on for a while, but I just noticed it in this latest patch. MusicMaker no longer plays mxcogg files. A couple of years ago, Magix changed the format of Soundpools available for sale through the in-program Store,

@CubeAce Hi Ray . . . . it's a swinging arm that's ball-raced and adjustably tensioned by a coil spring, similar to a car suspension system. . . . . The steady does look a bit 'flexible', is there any drag setting or fluid damping on it? . . . .

RE: Can people please list their useful third party effects here?
@johnebaker Hi John. If you mean not fixable in post-production, I was sadly beginning to come to the same conclusion, hence trying out various walking methods and adding an x-axis stabilizer, which also needs some adjustment and somewhat fiddly

RE: VPX and importing dual-stream MVC 3D stereo formats - which work?
Hi Mindsong, After reading your post, I tried a quick experiment. For my general 3d for fun, I use either my Fuji W3 like you, or my JVC TD1 which both record a packaged 3d file in one container, so I thought I would try a pair of Panasonic FZ1000s
