@johnebaker John, which of your players/TVs don't play this correctly? 😉 https://drive.google.com/file/d/104-8P0npodNURwL39fWmGmqHBu5rS9-a/view?usp=sharing Ex-analogue AVIs are a different kettle of fish. I get them into 768x576/720x540 ASAP.

RE: Puting finished movie with Title Page + chapters onto a USB stick ?
@VHS_guy_2019 Hi Assuming the viewer is plugging the USB stick into the TV, it is not possible to do this in a 'DVD' style format. The TV should support mp4 h.264 encoded video, this is the most universal format, you would have to put the title page

@AAProds Cheers Andy, you must have something on your system that I don't have on my laptop. I have nothing out of the ordinary I don't think - MPC-HC64, Lagarith, HuffYuv, UT Video Codec. Maybe a little less common is Hauppauge WinTV v10 and LAV

@MV650 Hi Marc. After reading the last reply from @Bol , a thought occurred to me. The signal from the non working VCR may just not be strong enough for the program but strong enough to play back to a TV. In that case it may just be a case of using

    RE: Lines in digitized VHS
I doubt that it is the digitiser. You'll notice the yellow banding in the sky; that will be caused either by poor tape quality or the VCR, so I think the lines are probably caused by the same issue. I just tried another VCR by Samsung and the

@Maju.M Hi . . . . Any Blu-Ray recorder installed in your computer will burn a Blu Ray disc with a movie in 4K quality. They just record the file, they don't check what's in those files.. . . . This is not a Blu-ray disc, what you have burned is a

Hi @Hi-NRG2, I cannot find any difference recording a two-channel source using discrete #2 or stereo. btw, a sample rate setting 768kHz is way over over-kill. 44.1k or 48kHz is usually sufficient. Though many studios track music or S/FX at 88k, 96k

    RE: Hi8 Blue Screen
@kevin-c2769 Kev, it will almost certainly be either a cabling issue or digitiser settings issue. Try a Composite cable and then an S-Video cable. If no joy, try it on your TV (Composite connection only probably). In the program "Import" settings,

if they are PAL tapes then they should be TFF, NTSC VHS is BFF Whilst TFF is normal for PAL mpg/VOB they don't have to be. PAL DVD players will handle LFF. Vegas DVDA recompresses files for a PAL DVD to LFF(BFF) VOB files. I've not found a way to
