RE: Wizard FX that comes with Music Maker 2022
@Mark-Christiansen You need to download the VST feature from the feature list in the Music Maker shop. In case you have already done this, you can then open the program settings and open the path settings. Here you need to configure your VST path

RE: Ctrl-Alt-J, Ctrl-Alt-B, Ctrl-Alt-N
@Turkana all Fi (i = 1, ..., 13) are 2s long (50 frames) If you are just putting more F1s beside each other to extend them showing on the timeline, you can set an increased time by either setting the default length in Settings>Program>

RE: MEP Premium - Preview rendering ignores crossfades?
@Former user @CubeAce Hi, MEP/VPX uses track 5 for audio effects that come with certain templates, and Audio tab files (songs and soundFX purchase through the Store). They will automatically be placed on track 5. Thus, since a collage requires

RE: Basic functionality: Any improvements in the latest version of VPX?
Project Temp Folder - it's on my list, unfortunately way down on the list of tutorials to do. I should bump it up. As it is, I'm way behind on everything. If you ever post a video about this, I'd be very interested to watch it. 3. Do you really know

RE: wont accept my serial says already used
@robert-k5134 I don't see a Sound Forge Audio Studio license in your screenshots. It shows the WizardFX Suite! You need to install the WizardFX Suite and add the installtion path to the VST path in the program settings of Music Maker and then scan

RE: Basic functionality: Any improvements in the latest version of VPX?
@Galaxy Hi, Have you actually counted the clicks and keyboard strokes to see which approach is more efficient? No, because most of the things that you mentioned that require repeat clicks are things that most users don't do much of, as far as I

RE: Basic functionality: Any improvements in the latest version of VPX?
@Galaxy Hi, Yes, in both scenarios I described, the current task must be completed first. Still, the second method would require fewer clicks: Double click the volume handle on the object Enter the desired volume. Press enter. Done. It should be

@CubeAce That's Peter not Jeff. That is strange although your SS is presumably in the new patch version in which they may have altered this? Definitely have not applied speed effect on any of the clips nor changed the setting in object

With all the video editors I have used you have to complete or abandon the current task, such as adding a title, before switching to another. Yes, in both scenarios I described, the current task must be completed first. Still, the second method

RE: Audio Mixing Question
@jak.willis Hi Jak. Normalizing only brings the loudest peak in a recording up to a preset arbitrary level. It has no effect on sound positioning. Audio post production has now got quite clever and complex. I can get to hear things slightly behind

RE: Audio Mixing Question
@jak.willis Hi, Would normalizing the whole mix at the mastering stage help at all? How would you do that? Mixdown the audio and normalize? You first have to understand what normalizing does. See the definition in the manual. Normalizing the project

RE: Basic functionality: Any improvements in the latest version of VPX?
@browj2, That's a very helpful answer. Thanks. I have some comments and questions: 1. Selectable tracks seem a useful improvement. 2. I'm glad to hear the Undo function works reliably for you, but it does not work consistently for me in version 16.

RE: Basic functionality: Any improvements in the latest version of VPX?
@Galaxy Hi, Now at VPX13 v.19.0.1.123. You are at v.16 which would be VPX10. A lot has changed since VPX10. Too much for me for one sitting, but here goes. Yes. You can now click in the track header to turn it on (blue) or rather, select it. When

Basic functionality: Any improvements in the latest version of VPX?
Regarding basic functionality in Video Pro X, I saw a forum post on this topic recently, but my concerns are somewhat different. It's not that I'm confused by the user interface; it's that I find the basic functionality is not very efficient. A lot

@John-Hilliard Hi To add to @browj2 comment. If you are not using the Multicam feature, then the aligning video objects by audio is limited to the number of tracks as set in the project settings. John EBForum Moderator

RE: Capturing Mini DV: Is it possible to adjust the output file type ?
@CarpentersMate Mike: The MP4 is, to my eye, the wrong aspect ratio. It is currently 3:2 when it should be 4:3. The people's heads currently look a little wide, and setting the aspect ratio to 4:3 in MEP makes them look more natural. The aspect can

RE: MPEG-2 to MPEG-4
@jak.willis I've done some comparison encodes. The secret seems to be to export your MP4 at 50fps. I set my movie properties to 50fps as well. Using the QTGMC process at 25fps, I still get dodgy video, but at 50fps for both QTGMC and MEP the video
