RE: Wishlist for future VPX versions (beyond VPX10)
@johnebaker Hi John. As the default setting yes. A lot are still customisable beyond that and don't suffer the low contrast problems. There are people out there whose eyesight is challenged is various ways but still do photography and videography. I

RE: Looking to buy a decent Video Cam for £200 - £300 -SUGGESTIONS
@johnebaker@johnebaker There seems little point in doing a camcorder comparison test if you are going to do post production on the output of them. He's mainly a photographer doing video to show his photography on YouTube. He has other photographic

RE: Looking to buy a decent Video Cam for £200 - £300 -SUGGESTIONS
@browj2 Hi John. Judging from looking at some of his other videos and the fact he lives in Las Vegas I think it's possible but on the cheaper units I wouldn't have thought he would need it until he got to the higher end of the price range. A lot of

RE: Masks and the use of the Chroma Key Enquiry.
Hi Terry. Yes sure, my pleasure. I normally use Wetransfer so if you pm me an email address I'll send it back to you. I can't say I spent much time on it if I'm honest. I would normally do much more tidying up of the files but got a bit pressed for

RE: Masks and the use of the Chroma Key Enquiry.
@browj2 Hi John. You can if you wish 😉. John EB's solution above helps me a lot but I have plans to take this effect up a few notches in other directions yet. There's a lot that can be done in stills photography editing I'm trying to figure out how

RE: Question about zooming in Movie Edit Pro
@jak.willis Hi Jak. It depends on how good your eyesight is 😂. More seriously, it also depends on how it's filmed and whether the video comes from the same source or not and whether they were all shot under the same lighting conditions using the

RE: Still have Phantom audio playing in the middle of nowhere
@johnebaker Smooth filter is a blur effect John. It is a part of the sharpness effect. I don't really know about video, but over sharpening produces what we refer to as 'worms' or white spots appear in still photography and I guess this would help

RE: [Closed] When exporting to YouTube the color changed
@RA-Cha@RA-Cha Hi. Not all web browsers are colour correct when viewing from the web. Stills photographers complain about this all the time. It's possibly your web browser. This has been proven on a few photography forums for stills viewing. Having

@Christopher-Sliter Hi Christopher. There is a little free program I use, to put jpg frames together form either Time-lapse photography or motion capture and produces a film that can be used in MEP or just played back in Windows. It's meant for

RE: VPX11 - Color Space, Color Space Correction, Instruments Meter Setting
@johnebaker Hi John EB Yes the Zebra stripes in video is very useful and again depends a lot upon the bit depth some cameras shoot at. Some cameras that did video in the past have been very low in bit depth but didn't advertise it. For stills I

RE: VPX11 - Color Space, Color Space Correction, Instruments Meter Setting
@browj2 Hi John . . . . turning on Color Space Correction limits (or reduces?) the saturation to somewhere between 75 and 100%, so it would seem that the maximum permitted is more than 75%, less than 100% . . . I have noticed this as well, since

RE: Any problems to expect if upgrading CPU/MB/ and operating system?
For anyone interested. I don't know if anyone bothers to try to set up their monitors for colour as some do for still photography processing but I've found one thing odd using Windows 10 and having to use the Intel graphics chip alongside my NVIDIA
