RE: Multiple Audio Tracks? How to insert additional audio tracks?
@Rednroll As @SP. wrote, SF is not a multitrack editor. "Multitrack" means that the user can start by recording one "track" and then add additional tracks by listening to the already-recorded tracks and "playing/singing along"

    RE: tracks
@Grayna-Bochenek Welcome to the Magix user to user forums. To be able to have two, different audio tracks playing simultaneously and also to alter the relative loudness of each (= "mix" them), is a feature of a multitrack software. Sound Forge,

@Duane-Kaya Welcome to the Magix user to user forums. Sound Forge is multi-channel, it is NOT multitrack, which is what you are accustomed to with ProTools, where, in what you describe, you are overdubbing pre-existing tracks. Sound Forge does not

    RE: overdubbing...
@Duane-Kaya SoundForge is not a multitrack-DAW. It is an audio file editor. You can record or edit single audio files with multiple channels and you can do batch processing and you can write scripts in C# for automating tasks.

    RE: Tracking Drums
@James-Burgess Music Maker can only record one track at a time. Samplitude Pro X or Samplitude Music Studio are for multitrack recording. As a workaround you can load the drum instrument multiple times inside Music Maker and record each drum part

RE: Acid files and Sound Forge
Yes, but sound forge is not multitrack. It’s more useful for writing acid metadata into files than “using them,” unless you just need to do sound design on a loop or sample (but one can probably just do that in ACID).

@Harvey-Lane Welcome to the Magix user to user forums. SFACL3 is not a "multitrack recorder" so no, it cannot be used in the way you describe, sorry! I just checked this on my installation of the product and, with an audio file on tracks 1 and 2,

    RE: anti-aliasing
Hi Jeff, Thanks for the reply, but I'm talking about anti-aliasing for digital audio, i.e. prior to reducing bit rate, the frequencies the new bit rate will be unable to reproduce are removed, so to avoid artefact (alias) created when the new

    Unwelcome Recording Feedback and Echoing
Hi everyone, I'm currently having issues with the program, MAGIX Samplitude Music Studio (version 24.0.0.36.) I'm using Windows 10, and I believe it's downloaded in 64-bit (if I'm using that correctly?). For the year that I've had this program,

The higher the buffer setting the greater the latency (lag), something that could screw up your timing if you're doing multitrack recording. You just want to increase the buffer size to the point where the clicking stops, but not beyond that. Have
