  I think I discovered the issue. It looks like the files I was editing were marked as "Read Only"... which is odd, because I was able to actually edit them and they did eventually save.

  I didn't go to the templates. I just clicked on the title editor button beneath the preview screen and w/e it showed on it, I usually click on it to type w/e and on the right, where it says title editing, I click on the 'font' and select what I want

  @johny_lovin_it Hi It works fine with the Basic fonts. Which font are you starting with and then changing to 8 bit Wonder? Are you clicking the tick top right of the title box in the preview monitor to confirm the changes - clicking off the title
