  My 4k LG 55" TV does a great job at upscaling. To my untrained eye 😉, 720x576 ex-VHS looks as good as the video played on my computer screen, which is only 2ft from my face.

  Greetings, I have an LG TV that plays everything I plug into it. I know that everyone on this forum poo poos the idea of using WMV format, but honestly I find it better than MP4 where my TV is concerned. Higher quality for comparitive bitrates.

  @Matthew-Bargren Export your movie as an MP4 (or HEVC) to your USB thingee and then plug it into your TV. It'll work. My LG smart TV (non-OLED) plays every shape and size MP4 I throw at it, plus MPEGs and M2TS.

  @browj2@browj2 First, fans can suffer from dust I agree but on average seem the most robust of components. I have more fans than I know what to do with so I rotate them taking some out and replacing them with ones I've cleaned. I don't do it that
