  RE: Channel 2 volume is so low I can't hear it
  The files are MP3. BUT, the missing audio occurs only in Audio Studio, even with MP3's recorded prior to having this problem. The 'proxy' setting is for lossy files playback. I have not read any reports of that particular issue though.

  @byeongho-Cho I speculate that this might have something to do with the MP3 decoder/encoder. Because of the way MP3 works internally, it will add silence add the beginning and the end of the file. Usually this are only milliseconds, so I don't think

  @scott-james This can be caused by editing compressed audio files like MP3. It's recommended to convert them to WAV first. If you enable to always proxy compressed audio files in the Sound Forge program preferences, this will be done
