RE: Samplitude Music Studio X8 - suddenly crashing
@Steven-Wood I did notice that in the the VST/ReWire section of System Preferences that the Plug In Buffer preset box was blank, and there is an option to select Default (Best peformance), so was wondering whether this might be part of the

@Tony-Rapisarda I'm sure @johnebaker might know more but your PC seems quite capable, You need to inc the MediaInfo pics, upload as many as you want. & can you say where your files are stored or where you're exporting to? If they're on an

@Kelly-Hill Hi. How much free space is on the C: drive? It doesn't matter where you put the program but ideally that should be on the C: drive as well. Whatever drive you put the program on, the program will keep creating really large temp files on

RE: Music Maker just locks up & becomes un-responsive
@browj2 The fix is stated in my previous comment. It has nothing to do with the accessibility options it is a problem with the VST scanning and the "ini" what exactly is only known by MAGIX. Again users should never have to perform hacks to get

A couple of points to add... The CPU and graphics card both seem to be about 10 years old. I'm not saying that's the root of the problem, but it probably isn't helping. VSTs generally take a lot of processing and Music Maker hasn't ever really been

@ron-griswold Hi Ron. I am on the same version 2024 as yourself. There have been a few updates to the base program including a few AI based ones that I am not really interested in and can't get best use of as I have the same processor as yourself if

@Tusk Your picture of the Task Manager shows Magix using both CPU and Memory. When Magix appears to have crashed, are the figures used continually changing or remaining constant? When I do certain edits, be they large or small, high or low

RE: [Solved] Export sound with APU_ModerEQ_x64
@Tomasz-Szwej The crash could be caused by your audio driver settings. In the Music Maker program settings select the Audio/MIDI tab and select an ASIO driver. If you don't have an audio interface with ASIO drivers you can select the Music Maker

When comparing the performance of the CPU in the task manager it seems there is about 5% less strain on the CPU if multicore is set to 4.

Thanks @Former user. My camera can shoot HEVC 4K 10bit but never bother to shoot with it. @johnebaker so MMS can edit HEVC 4K 10 bit 4:2:0? I've never shot in HEVC because on the hardware demands which could compromise timeline editing performance.
