Thanks John, I was able to fix the busy now issue by editing my .ini file as outlined above. I retired my earlier PC with the NVidia card, and built a new one, with the assistance from Desertsweeper, who I have not heard from in quite some time.

Hi Looking at the error log and the burning options you have 2 separate issues. You are trying to burn a Blu-Ray disc on a writer that does not support Blu-Ray .As Jeff has commented with the HL-DT-ST-DVDRAM GUB0N you can only burn CD's and DVD's.I
