RE: VPX14 update replaces VPX13
Can anyone speak to size of files that VPX 14 can handle? I am working on editing a 2-camera interview (about 45 minutes of usable footage, in 3 shots). I have double-tracks of 1080p MP4 recordings, specifically: - Camera 1 (Fujifilm X-T4) shooting

RE: Error Message when trying to access Local Designs Gallery
@Alan-Altmann Hi, Everything is saved on your computer unless you uninstalled the previous version completely. Look under: C:\Users\Your_User_Name\AppData\Local\Xara\XtremePro\18\Cache\designs\eng Copy everything from there to the version 19

RE: VPX 11 - What does this error mean
@1940 Hi. The drive could well be OK but the problem could have been caused when the file was written. I can think of several reasons this may occur including a forced shutdown of the program but it is not limited to just that scenario as several

RE: Change project location
@Robert-Vauthrin Hi Robert, I should have added that I use method 1. I leave the material used in its source location; no copy. if I want to archive the project with all source material, I do so at the end by going to File, Backup Copy, Copy Project

RE: Change project location
@Robert-Vauthrin Hi Robert, Thanks for the explanation. Even though a project may be huge, the project file itself, .MVP, is small. There are two ways start a new project. Before doing so, you should have the default locations under Program

RE: Your typical workflow
@Zkuggi Hi, Good list. 1. I don't do it like this. I prefer to leave everything in its place. I create links to folders in the Import tab. In some cases, I create a subfolder under the Project Temp Folder and drag and drop what I want into it,

RE: Can I delete all the .dat and cache files?
@Bob_Clark Hi If you are referring to the ,dat and cache folders within the C:\Program Files\MAGIX\Photostory Deluxe\ version subfolder - do not touch these. The files you can delete safely are the .H0 and .HDP temporary files that are created in

@Scenestealer Hi Peter. I wish I had a second machine to re-install VPX 11 from the Magix servers to answer that question for you as I really don't like to uninstall programs and then re-install them later. I do have copies of the following files on

RE: Software Updates
@CubeAce Ray, It's actually called Vegas MOVIE Studio 17, and it was released 9/10/2020. If you click on "related", you'll see MEP 2021, release date 4/11/2020, is there as well, so I don't think Vegas Movie Studio 17 replaced MEP 2021. More likely,

@CubeAce, @emmrecs Thank you. I copied the project to the NVMe, and everything is OK until now. It seems, the old HDD is usable only for backup purposes.

RE: "File not found", even after re-selection
@Photo_G Hi. If you export a project backup to a new location / folder, you get the option to to copy the media into the new project again, even if the media doesn't exist in the current project. Ray.

RE: Understanding original file management
@Joe-Engel Hi, Good questions! Does it make sense to drag 500GB files into a project just to access a few hundred MB for the end result? Won’t this just slow or choke everything? I certainly hope that you don't have too many 500GB video clips. The
