    RE: cleaning up 78 records
@lenny-schwartz The gentleman in the link I provided had a rare collection of 78 lp’s, but there was no option in ACL for him to convert, so he provided instructions for users like yourself on how to convert to wav and clean up by using

    RE: cleaning up 78 records
@lenny-schwartz if your turntable does not have a setting for 78rpm records, you can record them in at 45rpm and use the resampling/time stretching in ACL and clean up and convert to Wav. Forum Moderator

    RE: Voice changing
@jak.willis Yes, those types of programs add a ring modulator module (Think Moog synthesizer module) that rapidly fades in and out the samples on a waveform (Sine, square or saw tooth) to a pitch changer /re-sampler which also does not work that

@jak.willis Hi Jak. Yes you can alter the pitch but not the timbre so would not really sound like a female without some work from the performer. It may also add some artifacts into the recording. MEP and VPX is not that as smooth in it's abilities

I used to have an old copy of Music Maker, and I used all sorts of VSTs from 8bit synths to xylophone synths etc. I decided it was high time to upgrade to newer programs, as the old one seems to crash fairly often, and was fairly slow and
