    RE: No Audio after import
@sjmackinder Hi Simon. I know and at the same time hate Apple for their non sharing of their propitiatory codes but just to show you it is not just Magix that suffers from this I would like to point you to the Adobe response to this problem

    RE: No Audio after import
@sjmackinder Hi. In theory, in the past (Not too distant) we had some experimenting with Pro res 4:2:2 files with some success so it may just be the amount of audio channels that is the problem or something on your computer. It is difficult to tell

    RE: No Audio after import
@sjmackinder @Former user Thanks for that Gid. It does then look like, for additional file support you have to go from Magix VPX to Vegas Edit Pro to get the additional support for those Pro Res files but there is also additional support for the

RE: Choppy / Laggy Playback with 3 or more videos in Movie Edit Pro 2015
I stand corrected. There is a VGA port on the MOBO. It was covered with the OEM black plastic cap and I never noticed it before. So if I plug a monitor into the MOBO VGA port it will enable the HD4600 without having to go into the BIOS to enable it?

    [Closed] Vegas Pro Workflow Bugs
I'm writing this post with hopes that it is passed onto software team who develops Vegas. Some of these "workflow bugs" have existed since I started with the software over 10 years ago. I've purchased virtually ALL the updates since then. I'm a bit

RE: Choppy / Laggy Playback with 3 or more videos in Movie Edit Pro 2015
My PC is an off the shelf ASUS PC. I did not build this one myself. When I looked at the CPU usage yesterday, it was peaking at around 85%, but today it's peaking at 100% when I try to playback 4 simultaneous videos in the editor. So maybe it's a

RE: Why is this software so unreliable?
The drivers used for Wave driver and Direct sound drivers are those supplied by Microsoft and /or the audio card/chipset manufacturers. If the Microsoft drivers are used, for some models of Realtek chipset I have found that they are not the full

RE: Core Audio Format (CAF) File Support
CAF is an Apple format, similar to a (BWF) Broadcast Wave File, which can be a multi-channel (poly) and can contain metadata like a TC stamp and other non-audio info). I have never encountered one. VLC should be able open it where can be transcoded

@Wayne-McIlvaine Hi. That is a tricky one to answer. Normally I would say always record at the best quality you can obtain but after three days of solid Photoshop-ing Raw still images from my DSLR, I'm not so sure any more.🤔 The normal colour

RE: cut out a portion of a picture and put it in a picture
@Former user Hi Gid. There is only ever one reason I very occasionally use a tiff file. All three of my DSLR cameras shoot tiff as a native format and the image files are a direct readout from the camera sensors and therefore are 16 bit colour

@HomeMovieMaker Hi. Glad to see you are making some progress. You may not be completely out of trouble yet as Sony cameras can record in various formats such as X-OCN, XDCAM SD and HD, XDCAM EX, XAVC-Intra, XAVC Long-GOP, XAVC S, NXCAM, Sony RAW,

    RE: Quality.
@garfen Hi The program does not support RAW images, and as you say TIFF images are overkill, this leaves jpeg as you option. If you are going to produce a standard DVD disc (not a Blu-Ray disc) from the images they are going to be down sized to 720

    Quality.
Hello everyone. What is the optimum photo file format to use, I am making a dvd. I have put TIFF files on, but I think that's overkill. I have a Canon camera, so I can use RAW or jpeg. What do you think? Best regardsTerry.

    RE: Burn. Photostory 2022 deluxe.
Hello John. I shoot in RAW, process the photos in Adobe Elements 21, then save them as TIF files. These are about 50MB each. The people I will send these to will probably only have a DVD player. Best regards .

@MCK, @CubeAce brought up some very good points. As for ProRes 422 HQ, the files are going to be huge. Very HUGE. I just imported a UHD 4K 24P one that is a little over 1 minute long, and it's 7GB. But VPX12 played it back just fine on my

@Scenestealer the HB version of VPX12 has ended. It was a wonderful deal with Mercalli V5 Suite for $25, which alone would have been worth the cost. I do not currently have VPX13, but would think that having VPX12 would not have interfered with

@MCK Hi Mark. Personally I would use the copy of DaVinci Resolve Studio that comes free with the camera as the program was built especially for Black Magic cameras. Do you have a 4K, 6K, or 8K camera? VPX will certainly not be able to cope with

    SUPPORTED MEDIA
Hello all. I am still working with Video Pro X 8 and am about to start filming a new project. I have a Blackmagic Pocket 4k Cinema Camera and wonder if anyone here knows if any versions of Pro X support Blackmagic RAW 4k footage? Failing that, UHD?
