RE: Feedback on SOUND FORGE Pro 16
rraud, please include custom presets that couldn't be deleted for: Normalize, Clipped Peak Restoration, Graphic EQ & Paragraphic EQ. It would be great if you can ask the developers to check all other native preset modules that can be customized.

RE: What kind of external microphones are compatible with Music Maker 2022
@Rabbi-Zeekee Hello! The best idea is a combination of an USB audio interface with ASIO drivers and a XLR microphone instead of an USB microphones. USB microphones can always be problematic, depending how compatible its audio drivers are. USB audio

    RE: Your typical workflow
@Zkuggi Hi, Good list. 1. I don't do it like this. I prefer to leave everything in its place. I create links to folders in the Import tab. In some cases, I create a subfolder under the Project Temp Folder and drag and drop what I want into it,

FWIW, A multi-band compressor/limiter can also be used as a EQ (paragraphic) with or without the band dynamics enabled. My personal multi-band compressor fav was part of the iZotope's mastering suite that was included with SFP 9 and 10...

I'm so glad Sound Forge, Vegas, etc still exist, since the software has changed hands three times now - Sonic Foundry, Sony and now Magix. I'm going to check out those 4 EQs you told me about. Thanks so much.

RE: How big of a jump is SFP 16 over 15?
@Former user Thanks for your comments, but am not sure what you are basing your insights on. In one specific scenario, I restore/repair old cassette interviews. Some of the interviews are clean and sound good. Other tapes capture continuous noise

@SP. Thank you. I am a relative newb with SFP so it is hard to cut through the marketing noise. Audio repair is important for my work and Spectra Layers Pro is a great deal with SFP. iZotope RX series advanced is out of budget. For complex audio

RE: Plugin settings not saving (This is NOT the 'adding to chains' bug)
That's the thing, If I could produce it at will, I'd at least have a better than even chance of avoiding it.There seems to be no rhyme nor reason; sometimes plugin settings stick and sometimes they don’t. One thing I have noticed though, is that if

RE: Sound Forge 15 Pro - Equalizer
Unless you want SpetraLayers Pro and Melodyne (neither are EQs), which are in the Sound Forge Pro "Suite", the standard version of Sound Forge Pro is usually more than sufficient for most folks. The Suite version does include an additional dynamic

Best approach to clarify muddled audio?
