You could try resetting Sound Forg14 and/or 18 in the 'File' menu.. however I would surmise it is a PC related issue. Some folks have had issues with MP3 files and resetting usually resolves that issue. There are no common problems with PCM wave

Why does my track change tempo when changing the key signature?

Hi. I have an old rendered mp3 track that I need to change the key of. Every time I change the key, the tempo changes as well. How do I get around this? using Acid 11 pro. Thanks

Thanks, pasted the mp3 file. Searched for the song's name, and the vocal files came up. Glued them in. Didn't get to mix more on the loops themselves, but it was still ok 😊

What format file type are on the timeline? If there are of the lossy type (MP3, AAC, ect), enable "Always proxy compressed formats" in "Options> Preferences> General" Otherwise, try experimenting with a different record buffer setting.

Even more confusion now. At 12:24 I started a new test project - 1 short video file 768x576 with MP3 audio - and saved it as 1_Again. Autosave kicked in as expected BUT the first backup seemed to have happened BEFORE I saved the Project.
