RE: New Sound Forge 12 build 170 install on New Windows 10 64 bit Crashes
I agree, MAGIX is not wasting any human power on this because there is no profit left in buggy software. I'll stay with SF11 for the duration. What a shame the industry workhorse seems to have died while we're still trying to ride it.

RE: Broken Beatmapper Wizard and More
MAGIX won't sell much more even if they fix the bugs, for a number of reasons: A big reason why Sony dropped ACID Pro, was because they didn't feel it was worth the time to invest in it to turn it into a "full DAW." Functionally, ACID Pro is very

@Skyline_UK Hi John. Ever since I worked in the film and recording studio industries some years ago I have found the subject of how we see and hear fascinating. The idea of synchronizing audio to video is a complex one and one with little benefit to

    > When you guys first mentioned the VST 32 bit bridge I scratched my head wondering why you'd waste your time.  64 bit home PCs have been commonplace for about 20 years now.  Remember, 64bit XP launched in 2005, the first edition of Acid Pro was

Thoughts from a ONCE loyal customer
What has Magix done to all of these once great products???? I had used Sound Forge since the time it was initially developed. Years before even Sony acquired the company. Over many years, as my production needs grew, Sound Forge kept up with the

@terrypin@terrypin Hi Terry. Thanks for your thoughts as normally one reply kicks of another one and one thing I've learned over time is what works on one machine doesn't always work with another machine. Too many variations in PC building and

Logic Pro X does almost everything anyone would need for $199, with the best Effects, Instrument/Sampler, and Loop Bundle in the industry. FL Studio is available for those more deeply serious into this niche... How big do you think the market for

I have GTX 980. There is hardware support for HEVC export. When coding to h.264 as shown, integrated graphics are used in i5 4690K. Unfortunately, Magix "promotes" the Intel. I am currently working on Pro X but in the future I intend to switch to

I appreciate the information and was able to recover the critical recorded audio files. However, I don't need a lesson in file management especially in regards to a program that is in fact by any non-Beta standards in the software industry UNSTABLE.

7 DAWs currently support it, more DAWs are planning on it. Define “not a lot of industry support.”

wouldn't it be a case of supporting ARA, which appears to be a plugin format, much like VST. There's not a lot of industry support for it right now, at least according to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Audio_Random_Access

I doubt there will ever be a Samplitude for MAC. The DAW industry is extremely tight-margined, so it would take massive sales and market-share for Magix to be enticed into porting Samp over to a mac version. Sound Forge and Spectralayers already
