    RE: Collage >4 01: 6 minutes for 9 secs (40 to 1)?
It's incredible how long MEPP 2016 (and I'm guessing 2017/2018?) take to render apparently simple collages. I've just included the two landscape object > 02 04 in my current (1920x1080 50 fps) project. The collage, applied to two 4 second JPGs,

    RE: Collage >4 01: 6 minutes for 9 secs (40 to 1)?
That's a relief - glad I asked! I ran it again using full duration of 22 s. Took 15 mins 17 s! (916 s, i.e. ratio of 42 to 1.) Had the side of my case off to check for dust, thinking possible overheating, but it was surprisingly clean. And I gather

    Collage >4 01: 6 minutes for 9 secs (40 to 1)?
It's a long while since I used this particular collage for four landscape JPGs. I selected a range covering the first 9 seconds of its 22 seconds and exported at 50 fps, 1920x1080, 16:9, my project settings. At around 1 minute it slowed even more

    Importing pics (.jpeg)
Hi I am an estate agent (realtor) and use Magix Movie Edit Pro 16 HD on an Acer 7730 laptop running Win 7. I import .jpegs in order to create a slide show and export in .mpeg4. The problem is when I import a pic that was shot by the camera in

RE: MEP 2016 setting not working?
Hi . . . . John EB, have you tried taking panoramic photos of tall buildings and stitching them? I just thought of that and have never tried it . . . . I do this often, also with landscape images when taking them I start and end the sequence with a

RE: MEP 2016 setting not working?
Hi Terry . . . . At 4:3 or similar, don't you get more flexibility? . . . . Depends on how many portrait images you take - me virtually none, however one advantage of 16:9 for portrait mode is tall buildings get more in especially in cities where

RE: MEP 2016 setting not working?
I'm not sure about setting to 16:9. At 4:3 or similar, don't you get more flexibility? More scope for vertical pans, zooms, cropping, etc? How many hours I've wasted struggling with photo time syncing issues! Accuracy is important to me for video

RE: MEP 2016 setting not working?
Thanks John. I got that message in MEP Premium but not in MEP 2016. I'm guessing at some stage I told it not to display it again. It's a confusing design IMO. Having set it to automatically fill the screen, that's what it should do! i don't like

RE: New Blue Essentials: Auto Contrast puzzle
Hi Terry On that map I can detect no difference after clicking Auto exposure! Even on landscape photos like this one the difference seems rather small. I can not explain why Auto Exposure in MEP is not creating a big change in contrast on the map

RE: New Blue Essentials: Auto Contrast puzzle
Hi Terry . . . . Even on landscape photos like this one the difference seems rather small. . . . . That is to be expected - if you look at the histogram in PSP you will see the image is well balanced in the range of tones from black to white, so

RE: New Blue Essentials: Auto Contrast puzzle
Hi Terry My tests with MEP2017 and VPX confirm that the Big Boost NB FX does give a more contrasty preview in the NB interface monitor than in the Magix Preview and export, but the result is still much more contrasty and vibrant than in your

Hi I am assuming that you mean a photo which was taken in portrait mode when imported into Movie Edit Pro (MEP) is on its side in landscape mode and when you rotate it to the correct orientation black bars appear on both sides and the image is full

Thanks, everyone for commenting. It may also be true that while I just purchased what I thought the AD was showing (the newest version), that may not be the version that I wound up downloading. So the Border Effect may not be as present or as easy

Can you crop a Movie Sequence?
