    RE: Portrait oriented footage stretched.
@Mauricio-flores Magix doesn't recognise 9:16 portrait clips when dragged in, ie the project stays at 16:9 landscape when media is added. The fact your video is being stretched says that your project is 16:9 landscape which doesn't match you

RE: How to crop the travel map
@arnenu2 Hi, I see that no one has replied. Is your project landscape as shown? Or are you trying to do a project in portrait mode? In landscape mode, to remove the blue bars, go to fx View & Animation, Section and crop the image. See this

@Gid Hi Gid. If the program doesn't detect resolution, then why it doesn't place a landscape image across the blank space either side of a portrait image but places it inside leaving the top and bottom of a portrait setting blank if you don't accept

RE: Loss of orientation in Slideshow Maker 2
@Peter-Widt Hi The issue you are having would suggest the images are from a mobile phone and were taken in different orientations, ie some are vertical (portrait) and others horizontal (landscape), or if from 2 different devices, one of is a mobile

    RE: [Closed] Website Observation
@Gid Hi, I was going to mention that as you had brought it up. As far as I know, the programs are supposed to detect the format of the first video clip and propose a change to the project settings. For the AR, that doesn't work. I think that we

[Solved] Mediapool imports my landscape photos distorted

Surely there are some basic editing tools in this Magix program! I just don't know the landscape. What looks like a pause button takes me back to the beginning of the VF segment I loaded in. How do I get into it to edit it?

@DarkWestern Magix is great for making YT Shorts! There are Movie Settings presets for "Social Media", being square and 9:16 (ie portrait video). It's a tradeoff between filling the phone screen or not zooming in as much using a square, or even 4:3,
