RE: Family History Cassette Tape Project - Tips to Begin?
I experimented for quite a while on one of my recordings this morning - my cousin interviewing his mother in the early 1990s. First, I normalized - this is not a feature I had worked with yet, so thank you for the tip. The I tried a variety of

RE: My MAGIX software will not cut a DVD to Disc
@rickduley Not trying to put the mockers on it but did you export to an ISO file as @johnebaker suggested and tried burning any type of disc using Windows? Because if that fails it could be your recorder. Over the years I got got through more than 7

RE: MM2026 34.0.0.6 VST instruments causing severe audio problems

    RE: Making Blu-rays
@donjen33 Hi. Thanks for the clarification. If the Blu-ray burner was on another older machine is it compatible with a newer operating system? Is there a new driver for it? You may need to go to the manufacturers website to find out. Personally mine

RE: [Closed] Computer has blown up?
@jak.willis Hi From the damage to the power connector of the drive in the right image above this looks to me like a catastrophic failure either in the drive or the powerpack. The other drive looks to be physically OK both connector strips look fine,

RE: [Solved] Unable to record from local source (mic)
Thanks for your input, Rick. Appreciated. From what I can gather, the issue (now resolved..see above) had to do with electrical interference in the circuitry likely induced by a motor start spike elsewhere in our lines. Not only was I seeing the

RE: Audio Buzzing/Crackling | Please Help
@johnebaker Hi John. Or for the same reason as for video - the less information to encode the higher the compression, now if the thunder was a full orchestra in full swing the bitrate it could be very different. You could be right. AAC is far more

@MCK Hi Mark. It definitely sounds like it has poor ventilation although you should never really put a laptop directly on your lap. They can get hot enough to cause light burns when the vents get restricted. We use something similar at home to a tea

RE: VHS capture quality is very poor
@AAProds Hi Al. In the UK isopropyl alcohol is never sold as 100% proof as unless the container is glass, (as used to be sold to the film industry) some container material can leach into the fluid over time. When I had to work with isopropyl alcohol

    RE: SUPPORTED MEDIA
@MCK Hi Mark. It depends on what you mean by 'Cinematic look'. Do you mean the use of shallow depth of field or the effect of using a slower frame rate? Using LUTS? You are really going to have to take notice of your histograms on the screen of the

RE: Unable to record from local source (mic)
There are 2 possible reasons for this: The Antelope needed resetting, or Windows detected the interface correctly, installed the drivers and made it live. Windows not detecting some devices is a common issue requiring multiple plug in attempts

RE: MEP de-noiser: Tick or Untick ''Remove camera noise only'' difference?
@Apollo89x Hi This particular setting is for removing audio that is generated by some older cameras eg when zooming, the motor noise can be picked up by the microphone by transmission through the camera due to poor microphone isolation. If you do
