[Solved] Zoom & editan originally portrait sequence guidance
As one zooms and edits, is there a way to just get something like a border guide around the screen area that will form part of the final export? Only want it just as a guide to assist a zooming edit. Or perhaps change the black background screen

RE: Camera/Zoom shot in "Effects," Movie Studio 2022 Platinum
@AAProds Hi Al, It's easy for you because you've been doing it for years, but for others, it's not easy. I did mention masks earlier, not that I know a lot about them. You've got the OP's image John, do what he wants with masks. I'll be interested

RE: Help selecting a new PC
thanks everyone for your comments. To answer some of the points made:- I made the video with a Gopro ( Hero 7 Black) on a selfie stick. Resolution was set at 2.7k/50fps/superview which is my go to setting for most of the videos I do of mountain

RE: Movie Studio 2023
Hi all, I have had to do some domestic chores today, including some training of my new video star so I haven't finished up my video. Young dogs can be little monsters. @Tara_888 has bailed on us and has said so in the comments to my tutorial. One of

SOLVED! Locked on absolute object tracking in VPX. Super easy.
PROBLEM - Say you have an object that jumps around the video frame (person jogging, dog or child running around) and you want to have the camera follow them like a super steady cam or drone. You could manually reframe the video with keyframes on

RE: Previewing exported but not published site in browser
Hi John Yes, I did receive the message you sent to me and I followed your advice. Every time I tried to do something I cocked something else up I gave myself a couple of days off to recharge my batteries. I'm pleased to say that I think I am ready

RE: Previewing exported but not published site in browser
Hi, John... it's me again.... I really am sorry to keep bothering you, but things are going from bad to worse. I followed your advice from your last post and when exporting the website all the file names were changed (as it said they would be) to

RE: Ozone9 issue with latest SF15 update
Welcome to the Magix Sound Forge users community @TIMGTRMAN, I do not think it has anything to do with the Sound Forge update, nor has there been any reports of the issue. Double check the settings in Ozone.. maybe reinstall it, I am having a hard

RE: Call Out Templates for VPX or MEP Premium
@Brynjar-Gudmundsson Hi, I looked at one of the videos about creating a callout in Vegas 15. Basically, the callout - boxes, text and line with circle were created separately, exported as a transparent avi, imported and moved to follow the action.

RE: Frame size for export.
@johnebaker @CubeAce Hi John and Ray [For the very reason I stated above - the distortion is too much and does not make for comfortable viewing, it is better to pillar or letterbox the video then stretch it automatically to full screen with the

RE: Automatically adjust all clips' volume to the same perceived level
Hi, Ditto what Jeff and CubeAce said. Audio, like video, is a science, but adjusting it is a black art. There is no automatic adjustment that will do it right. I am definitely not an expert on this, so the others may jump in here. I use VPX, so in

RE: Rendering artifats
Thanks Roger. I don't see the artifacts in the original footage. I have used VPX on 2 different laptops... 1 a very slow dog, and now on an older engineering laptop with Intel i7 vPro. Maybe Panasonic AVCHD files are too highly compressed. But I

RE: VPX(8) - New features - LUTs and Brightness, contrast, saturation & temperature curve effect
Hi John EB, Thanks for the video link, I had not seen it. Since my cameras do not use log exposure, then the use for LUTs gets down to Emulating film and Looks. You mentioned in my bugs post that there is some Gernam text on the

RE: fastcut video has black space on both sides of video...how do I remove
@Terry, Orange would be better. Black would cause confusion with the many other black concentrated fertilizer balls left behind by irresponsible dog owners.

Hi, You lost me a bit here. There are different ways to apply masks. The first is simply to apply one to a video clip using the Load Mask from the effects popdown. This mask is simply a black and white or gray-shaded image, where the white
