RE: Questions about streaming service
@ProductionSavard It's not a black and white answer. Yes, you're the writer of your song. I wouldn't say a loop is different much from a sampled instrument. But loops can give you problems if you want to release your composition. Technically, your

RE: Download royalty free license.
@Eduard-vandenBerg Hi This is a problem encountered frequently when using loops for creating music. Many distributors do not like loop based compositions as they are technically 'not original works', ie the work should be composed/written/played on

RE: New artist here. First album, I need help, please!
@AdrianV Hi I am in agreement with @SP. If you are determined to go down this route and 'make a living' out of it, then there is a lot 'stuff' you need to know about: For Copyright, Licensing, Promotion etc you should be talking to a professional

RE: Videowandler 2 issues...
@Sami-Pekonmki My comments are based on this manual. Sami, do you by any chance, have a DV/Firewire port on your computer? That camcorder appears to be miniDV and the best transfer is via Firewire. Regarding the video signal, you would get better

RE: selling beats
@Ikonik The rapper/singer is not relevant to what you can do with Music Maker with respect to selling beats. If you are using any of the Soundpool loops, and do not have a Commercial licence for every Soundpool a loop(s) has been used from, then the

RE: Videowandler 2 issues...
@Sami-Pekonmki Thank you for the additional information. Every little helps! A quick search on your camera model led to this page from the manual. I assume, from what you write, that you do not have the AV to 3 x Phono (RCA) cable that the manual

RE: How can I open my CD Architect (.cdp) projects in Sound Forge?
Thanks. I already have CD Arc and use it often. I am currently working on a CD project of original compositions. I realize that the .cdp files are small and require all wave files in the timeline to exist somewhere on the computer. No problem with

RE: Video Pro X and Vegas Pro exports
you don't need composite tracks to do it. There is very little that I have seen done with composite tracks in Vegas that cannot be done simply on the timeline the way we do it in VPX/MEP/MMS. We're getting away from Doug's original question but

RE: How can I check what I have for commercial use?
@Sebastian-Biel That wouldn't work. Just by buying the commercial license you are not allowed to resell your music. Your composition must also reach a certain level of originality. Read the complete EULA for commercial usage.
