  Good of you both to give some of your time, thank you,i did try the Auto-Zoom ticked on and off but because my video (digitized old VHS) is of such poor quality that when I do a run with Zoom on, the quality of the result is very bad, can't use it.

  Terry, I can't think of anything in MEP the would change just one bit of text color. I tried a small alpha mask between your original and a copy with 'Effects' >> 'Video effects' >> 'Color' set to 100 red, 100 green and 0 blue.
