The user interface is comprised of several panels/panes which can be moved and docked as required, they do load separately and the default interface layout is shown below.
If the layout you see does not look like this, try resetting the interface to the default layout pressing F9 or selecting Window, Window arrangement, Reset window arrangement from the menu bar.
It would help us help you if you would use the standard terminology when referring to the parts of the interface. I have named the basic areas in the image above.
It would also help if you put the specification of your computer system including Windows version and program version, in your profile Signature so we do not have to keep asking for it, see my signature below as an example.
See this topic for what is required and please quote processor and graphics card make/model in full, and also what monitor/screen resolution(s) you are working with if this is a laptop.
