25p from digicam to export 50p or 50i ??

My video takes from my digital camera are 25p, when looking on PC, that flickers. In movies we have 24p but the frames are shown twice giving something like 50p to avoid flickering. The takes are 1920x1080 25p, when exporting to 720p, I get 50p or 100p, as my VLC codec information tells me. The videos are rather smooth and nice. How can I do thar with 1920x1080? (Magix VDL premium deluxe + Mercalli).
