@Ceratosaurus-Bollocks

. . . . Did you also look at the make of my headphones? . . . .

Yes and, from the research I have done, IMHO the headphones are a prime suspect cause of the issue.

User reviews on this particular headset would suggest that there can be several issues with them, in particular the cables parting from the headset.

Actually most if not all of the reviews for the headphones are all positive.

Which sockets/plugs - please be specific - without knowing the age of the PC it is possible that it has worn sockets or that plugs have been left in too long and the sockets internal connectors have lost their 'spring back' thus making for a loose connection.

The plugs by the mains, not the USB's that go into the PC, the plugs that are plugged into my PC all came with the computer, which is only some months old and never been used before me.

However, you can persuade MEP to output at the 1440 x 900 resolution by simply ticking that box which says "Display all", selecting "MP4 Full HD 1920 x 1080" and then setting the resolution box to your choice of 1440 x 900. See the various boxes I have outlined on the screenshot below:

Does this now export without the noises?

Jeff

Thank you for this advice, due to the length of time it takes to export half an hour long videos I leave my PC to export the video when I sleep, so tomorrow I will tell you the results.

Hi. Thanks for the screenshot (although it shows the output resolution as still being 1920 x 1080), if, using my installation of MEP 2018 I select the option for 1440 x 900, I also see the "Unsupported resolution" message!

I've clicked Display All and 1440 x 900 is still not supported?

As Jeff said, and took the time to illustrate clearly, "and then setting the resolution box to your choice of 1440 x 900".

I clearly stated that 1440 - 900 is still not supported

@Ceratosaurus-Bollocks

Actually it is but since you chose to use extremely insulting language towards another user (now removed), your participation in the forums is blocked until further notice.
