Screen shots! I do not see anything that says ""apply title setting to all flowing" when I select a text box.

I know what you mean and where it is, but not at all from what you say. I want you to say exactly what you do to get this and show it.

Hi

. . . . text should be two lines and write as text, do not use the text effect area . . . .

Thanks for the clarification.

I can replicate this with a multi line title as the 'source' for the effects to be copied from.

It does not matter whether the text is typed in or pasted from a text document so long as it wraps within the text box or is split into separate lines using the enter key.

When you make a change to the source title - text centred - and use the 'apply to the following titles' (lets call these the target titles) whether multi line or single line the target titles text becomes left aligned, the source title remaining correctly aligned.

The TV safe area does not have any effect on the text alignment behaviour within the text box.

Write two lines of text and center. then duplicate this side by side. then click on "apply title setting to all following". You will see that the texts are leaning to the left as in the picture.

Hi

I did 3 different tests before posting my previous comment - these were:

  1. duplicated 2 line titles as you stated above

  2. created 3 separate multi line titles - the number of lines does not matter so long as there are at least 2

  3. created 1 multi line title (the source title) and 2 single line titles - the target titles

In each test using "Apply title setting to all following" the target titles text left aligned (leaning to the left) within the text boxes.

It is a bug, I will post a video showing this and send a bug report to Magix Support.

@ProMagixUser

That is what you should have explained at the very start. It would have saved me and John EB a couple of hours of playing around, making videos, trying to guess at what you want. Next time, as I have said throughout, properly describe and explain the problem and show adequate and proper screen shots. I see that you still have not learned how to take a simple screen shot with the computer. Before doing anything else, learn how to at least do that. Then get a screen capture program and learn how to use it.

I experience problems with deadlock in Magix Movie edit pro.
The most frustrating thing is when i have a longer movie (like 40 mins) which takes about 1.5h to render.
The deadlock can happen any time, but when it happen during rendering I have to restart it from the beginning!
I have a quite powerful computer with 12/24 cores/threads.
As a software developer I think this a typical deadlock situation.
One thing that I might help a bit is if I reduce the amount of cores that is used by MovieMaker to 12 instead of all 24.

The post from @Chrilles concerns Movie Edit Pro. This thread is about Video Pro X.

@Chrilles please do not hijack another user's thread, especially when that thread is about a different product! Rather, start a new thread with your question, not forgetting to include FULL details of your computer and the exact version and build number of MEP you are using, plus details of the actual files you are using and your export settings..

@ProMagixUser you have made your views clear earlier in the thread; there really is little point in restating them!
